Tamika Tia Thumbiran | South Africa Tamika Thumbiran has five years of experience in the legal field. Currently, Tamika is an admitted advocate of the High Court and a member of the Johannesburg Bar. She is also part of the inaugural cohort of Waging Justice for Women Fellows with the Clooney Foundation for Justice. Tamika holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of KwaZulu, Natal. Tamika is committed to upholding and progressing the rights of women, children, and marginalized groups through strategic litigation and legal advocacy. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Tamika plans to join the Centre for Human Rights, University of Pretoria as legal counsel with a focus on strategic litigation.
